Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Higher Education in Africa should be typed doublespaced. Electronic versions should be submitted via our electronic submission system (https://journals. codesria.org/index.php/jhea) as MSWordattachments. Avoidexcessiveformattingofthetext.Camera ready copies ofmaps, charts graphs arerequired aswellasthedataused in plotting thecharts andgraphs.

Please use the Havard Reference System (author–date) for referencing, e.g.:

It is interesting to note that… the word for ‘tribe’ does not exist in indigenous languages of South Africa (Mafeje 1975:254).

It is essential that the references section lists every work cited by you in the text. An abstract of 150 to 200 words, stating the main research problem, major findings and conclusions should be sent with the articles for translation into English or French. Articles that do not follow this format will have their processing delayed.

Authors should indicate their full name, address (including e-mail contact), academic status and current institutional affiliation.

CODESRIA adopts the “blind” peer review system for evaluation and manuscripts not accepted for publication will not be returned to authors.

Articles submitted to the JHEA should be original contributions and should not be under consideration by another journal at the same time.

Authors are entitled to two complimentary copies of the issue in which their articles appear and a PDF copy of the article for either printing or distribution.

Les manuscrits soumis à la Revue de l’enseignement supérieur en Afrique devront être saisis à l’interligne double et doivent être soumis via notre système de soumission électronique (https:// journals.codesria.org/index.php/jhea) au format Ms Word. Eviter un formatage excessif du texte. Les cartes, diagrammes et graphiques devront être envoyées sous forme de prêt à clicher. Les données utilisées pour tracer les diagrammes et graphiques devront également nous parvenir.

Veuillez utiliser le système de référence de Harvard (auteur–date) pour ce qui est des références, par exemple :

La liste des références doit répertorier tous les travaux cités dans le texte par l’auteur. Le CODESRIA a adopté le système d’évaluation des manuscrits dans l’anonymat et les manuscrits non publiables ne seront pas retournés aux auteurs.

Les articles envoyés à la RESA doivent être des contributions originales et ne doivent pas être soumis pour considération dans aucune autre publication au même moment.

Les auteurs ont droit à deux (2) exemplaires gratuits du numéro dans lequel leur article est publié ainsi qu’à la version électronique de leur article au format PDF qu’ils pourront imprimer et distribuer.
